Mijn schoonmoeder was er in ieder geval al heel blij mee. De kangoeroe verhuist pas naar de moeder als het babietje is geboren. Dank jullie wel. Ik heb de kangoeroe inmiddels aan mijn schoonmoeder gegeven en zodra het babietje is geboren, geeft zij hem aan de moeder.

@ Spikeysmum: bij dit patroon stond geen baby maar een boemerang in de buidel, dus vandaar... geen baby

Meestal willen de oogjes me wel aardig lukken, maar nu zag ik te laat dat ze niet helemaal goed zaten. Er zat ook een beetje druk op de ketel, want ik wilde het beestje af hebben omdat ik die avond mijn schoonmoeder zou zien en ik aan haar beloofd had om hem mee te nemen

Ik ben ook zelden tevreden over de oogjes die ik maak. Ik vind dat ook meestal het moeilijkst om te maken. Het hele gezichtje trouwens. Maar de wallaby-mamma is toch heel leuk geworden. Ik mis alleen Joey. Zo noemen ze in Australië toch de baby in de buidel? Meestal zie je het zelf als een probleem, dat de oogjes niet helemaal recht zitten, maar een ander ziet het niet zo gauw, of vindt het niet erg. ( Ik heb er ook altijd problemen mee.)
