Het komt waarschijnlijk omdat je steeds dezelfde richting op haakt.
Je kunt het beste bij een grote granny square steeds iedere toer de andere kant op haken.
Je ziet er zo goed als niets van, maar daardoor wordt je vierkant wel mooi vierkant en trekt het niet meer!

Ik haak met catania nld. 2,5. Heb ook al naald 3 geprobeerd. Ik zal proberen een foto toe te voegen.

Met zo weinig informatie kunnen wij je niet helpen :) Misschien te kleine haaknaald voor het garen wat je gebruikt. Haak je strak? Iets meer info helpt bij het jou helpen :) (heb je een afbeelding of link van het patroon, welk garen gebruik je welke naald etc.)
