A HookerPoem

My wife isa Hooker,

Of this she’smighty proud,

And thestories of her exploits,

Are legendsin our town.

She’sshameless with her talents,

She’ll gohooking anywhere.

And ifpeople want to watch her,

She reallydoesn’t care.

It seems tobe a family thing,

Her mothertaught her how.

Seems hergrandma was a hooker,

and mydaughter’s hooking now.

She goes toHookers’ meetings,

to learnthe new techniques.

She startshooking in a frenzy,

and won’ttalk to me for weeks.

She doesn’tto the housework,

She doesn’tmake the beds,

No shedoesn’t have time for that,

She’drather hook instead.

My wife,she is a hooker,

and I cursethat awful day,

when shefirst picked up the hook and yarn,

and learnedhow to Crochet!
