Worsted weight yarn is de dikte van het garen. Het is een beetje medium dik garen (niet dun maar ook niet super dik). Het is garen voor ongeveer naald 5 (dit gaat op voor breien, met haken weet ik het niet).

Even opgezocht : 210 yards is 192 meter. Dus in een bolletje van 90 gram zit aan lengte 192 meter garen.

Een oz is iets van 28 gram. Dus 3 oz is bijna 90 gram.

ik heb nu betere plaatjes gevonden van de gehaakte sokken en wou ze dus gaan vertalen voor sommige van jullie.

maar wat betekend dit:

Wotsted weigt yarn, 3 oz (210 yds, 90 gms) lavender and 2 ½ (175 yds, 75 gms) pink.

 

het patroon kan ik wel vertalen maar met het garen snap ik niet.
