HAIR
Note When working Round 2, Row 4, Row 7, and Row 10 with curls, insert hook under only one loop of chains, so curls twist. With larger hook and C, make an adjustable ring. Round 1 (right side) Ch 3 (does not count as a st here and throughout), 12 dc in ring; join with sl st in first dc—12 dc. Round 2 [Ch 13, working in BL of chs, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, 2 sc in next ch, sc in next 2 chs, 2 sc in next ch, sc in next 6 chs, sl st in next dc] 4 times, [ch 19, working in BL of chs, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, *2 sc in next ch, sc in next 3 chs; repeat from * 2 more times, sc in next 4 chs, sl st in FL of next dc] 8 times—4 shorter curls (bangs) and 8 longer curls. Note Work now progresses in rows. Row 3 Ch 3, turn; working in unused loops on Round 1, 2 dc in first unused loop, 2 dc in each of next 7 unused loops—16 dc. Leave remaining sts unworked (for bangs). Row 4 Turn; [ch 25, working in BL of chs, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, *2 sc in next ch, sc in next 3 chs; repeat from * 4 more times, sc in next 2 chs, sk next dc, sl st in FL of next dc] 8 times—8 curls. Row 5 Ch 3, turn; working in unused loops on Row 3, dc in first 3 unused loops, 2 dc in next unused loop, [dc in next 3 unused loops, 2 dc in next unused loop] 3 times—20 dc.
